Sonya Drakula Solicitor

I grew up in Taupo and have watched Taupo expand over the years.

I completed my Bachelor of Laws at the University of Waikato at the end of 2014. Whilst living in Hamilton I worked for an immigration firm specialising in assisting farmers with their visa requirements.

I moved back to Taupo in September 2023 and joined Cargill Stent Clarke in order to expand my legal knowledge. I also made the decision to move in order to be closer to family and for better opportunities for my sons when I came to sports and schooling.

Outside of work, you will find me most weekends of the sidelines of both the soccer field supporting my oldest son and then the rugby field supporting my husband.
