Clayton Stent Director LLB MNZM
Developing strong client relationships and thinking outside the square is essential in achieving optimum results for my clients.
Arriving in Taupo in 1986, I have practised law for the past 36 years, joining Chris Cargill to form Cargill Stent Law in April 2012.
I have developed particular skills in Trust and asset protection ,commercial property and company law. I also practice in estates and governance and act for a number of Maori Trusts. I enjoy working together with my many varied clients and offer extensive and practical experience as a lawyer and advisor.
I have been heavily involved in the community over the years and was Mayor of the Lake Taupo District from 2001-2007. I have enjoyed being a board member on many organisations, the most recent of which being Law Alliance NZ and the Geyser Foundation. I am currently the Chairman of the Lake Taupo Protection Trust.
I enjoy the pleasures and gems that Taupo and the region have to offer – boating, fishing, gardening and cycling. Spending time with my family, socialising with friends and being at the beach also feature strongly. Its a full on life!
